A typical day at La Fabriquery is 6 hours long, with the occasional exception of the last session. A 6-hour day means 3 hours of classes and 6 hours of personal work at La Fabriquery.
Classes are held from Monday to Friday during the day, all year round. Reservations are made on demand according to remaining availability. There will be no more than 4 trainees on the same slot.
You can group together your training days, but if you can space out the sessions and work at home in between, it will make learning easier.
Discovery of the tambour or Luneville embroidery:
A day around the crochet chain stitch, in all its forms. Nothing else but chainstitch. Everybody can learn Luneville embroidery 6 hours (3h of courses and 3h of personal work at La Fabriquery), 100€, supplies included, frame and trestles available in the workshop.
This course allows you to benefit from a discount of 50€ on Luneville embroiderer level 1 and Traditional Embroidery Level or 30€ on the Beauvais stitch beginner level, to be achieved within 6 months after the discovery day.
Beauvais or Pompadour stitch beginner level 12h (6 hours of courses and 6 hours of personal work at La Fabriquery), 190€, supplies included, frame and trestles available in the workshop. Patterns can be adapted according to the trainee’s background.
Traditional embroidery level: 33h (18h of courses ans 15h of personal work at La Fabriquery), 650€, supplies included, frame and trestles available in the workshop. An alphabet sampler with all classical stitches.
Lunéville embroidery level 1 threads: 24h (15h of courses and 12h of personal work at La Fabriquery) , 490€, supplies included, frame and trestles available in the workshop.
Lunéville embroidery level 1beads and sequins: 27h (15h of courses and 12h of personal work at La Fabriquery) , 550€, supplies included, frame and trestles available in the workshop. How to deal with basic stitches with beads and sequins.
Lunéville embroidery level 2: 27h (15h of courses and 12h of personal work at La Fabriquery) , 550€, supplies included, frame and trestles available in the workshop. More complex stitches, vermicelli and drawn stitch (point tiré).
Lunéville embroidery level 3: 27h (15h of courses and 12h of personal work at La Fabriquery) , 550€, supplies included, frame and trestles available in the workshop. Working on opaque fabric and detailed pattern.
Goldwork embroidery level 3: 27h (15h of courses and 12h of personal work at La Fabriquery) , 650€, supplies included (gold or silver plated), frame and trestles available in the workshop.
